Real Madrid announced the injury of Belgian Thibaut Courtois, the team's goalkeeper, after facing Borussia Dortmund, yesterday, Tuesday, in the Champions League.

Real Madrid said in an official statement: "Following the tests carried out on our player Thibaut Courtois by the club's medical services, he has been diagnosed with an adductor muscle injury in his left leg. His condition will be monitored pending developments.".

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Courtois' injury means he will miss the match against Barcelona next Saturday in the 11th round of the Spanish League.

Ukrainian Andriy Lunin is expected to be Real Madrid's starting goalkeeper in the Clasico.
It is noteworthy that Real Madrid also lost the services of Brazilian winger Rodrygo Goes, who will not be able to make it to the match against Barcelona.
