The 16th BRICS summit in the Russian city of Kazan called today, Wednesday, for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
The group leaders stressed "the need for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip", while strongly condemning "the entity's targeting of humanitarian operations and aid distribution centers in Gaza".
They said that "the pager bombings in Lebanon are a violation of international law, and we condemn the Zionist entity's targeting of Iranian diplomatic buildings in Damascus".
The group leaders stressed "the need to respect the integrity of Lebanese territory, and for the Zionist entity to stop targeting UN staff".
They expressed "deep concern about the negative impact of illegal sanctions on the global economy".
