Presidency of the Republic calls for dialogue among all parties in Kurdistan to form the regional government

    The Presidency of the Republic called on all political parties to engage in dialogue to form Kurdistan Regional Government.

    In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) today, Wednesday, the Presidency congratulated the people of Kurdistan and all political parties and blocs that participated in the successful parliamentary elections, commending the high professionalism and integrity demonstrated by the Independent High Electoral Commission in managing the electoral process.

    The statement urged all political parties to come together for a constructive national dialogue aimed at forming a government based on prioritizing public service, enhancing reconstruction efforts, supporting economic recovery, and achieving sustainable development.

    It emphasized that elections, while a fundamental constitutional obligation, are also a cornerstone of our unified federal parliamentary democratic system and a source of pride for all Iraqis. The Presidency called for respecting the election results and the free will of the people.

    Additionally, the statement reaffirmed the Presidency's support for completing the constitutional and democratic process in Kurdistan, reinforcing national unity and fulfilling the aspirations of our people for development, prosperity, and progress.
