The resistance Hezbollah announced on Monday that it targeted Zionist aircraft with surface-to-air missiles, which forced them to leave Lebanese airspace.

"In support of our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, in defense of Lebanon and its people, and while Israeli warplanes breached the sound barrier over the Zahrani area in southern Lebanon, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in the air defense units launched surface-to-air missiles at the enemy aircraft, and forced them to leave Lebanese airspace," according to a statement by Hezbollah, followed up by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
