Masrour Barzani casts his vote in Kurdistan Parliamentary Elections

    Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, cast his vote today in the Kurdistan parliamentary elections.
     
    Following the vote, Barzani held a press conference attended by Iraqi News Agency (INA) reporter, where he emphasized the critical importance of participation in the democratic process. “Voting is not just a right, but a crucial decision that allows citizens to choose their representatives and shape the next government,” he stated.
     
    He further expressed his hopes for a smooth and peaceful electoral process, free of disruptions, and urged voters to hold those accountable who failed to serve the people, while rewarding those who delivered the services. “I hope today’s elections proceed calmly and without any issues,” Barzani said.
     
    “I extend my best wishes for success to Kurdistan and its people,” he added.
     
    Meanwhile, KRG Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani also cast his vote in the parliamentary elections, reinforcing the government’s commitment to the democratic process.
     
    Earlier,Polling stations opened at precisely 7:00 a.m., welcoming citizens to cast their ballots in the highly anticipated elections for the Kurdistan Regional Parliament.
