The President Barham Salih, met the Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister on Wednesday, Pakistani State Minister Thoo al-Faqar Bukhari, and the accompanied delegation.
The Media Office said in a statement sent to the Presidency of the Iraqi news agency INA that during the meeting stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and promoting bilateral coordination mechanisms between Iraq and Pakistan, mutual benefit in all areas. It said "they discussed bilateral relations and ways of strengthening, particularly in the areas of economic and industrial development to achieve common interests between the two countries.
" For his part, the Pakistani Minister stressed his country's keenness to enhance and develop bilateral relations, stressing his Government's support for Iraq in various areas.
