The President of the Spanish League, Javier Tebas, praised the Iraqi football experience, stressing that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani is making a great effort to the Football Association achieve the desired development.
A statement by the Football Association received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the Iraqi Football Association held a media workshop in cooperation with the Spanish League, which was attended by the President of the Spanish La Liga Association, Javier Tebas.".
Tebas praised according to the statement "the Iraqi football experience, and that it will reach what we have reached due to the efforts made to serve Iraqi football, expressing his high thanks and appreciation to the Prime Minister, Eng. Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani is making a great effort to help the Football Association achieve the development it seeks.
" He added, "The efforts made by the Football Association are going well, as Spanish football was experiencing the same situation, but it rose after it put plans in place to achieve that."
Tebas stated "Iraq is a country that loves football, and its fans are very passionate about the game, and our statistics confirm this, and I am sure that Iraqi football will be in the best condition," calling on "Iraqi clubs to help the federation achieve its goal, especially about the infrastructure of the stadiums, and the need to reach perfection; because it will benefit Iraqi football financially and morally," stressing "the importance of working with the spirit of one team that seeks the reputation of Iraqi football, which awaits a bright future.
" Tebas called - according to the statement - "the participants in the workshop to make the most of the lectures that are given to them, which fall within the category of exchanging information," noting that "these workshops will continue to develop the competencies in the federation and clubs," referring in his answers to the participants' questions to several matters related to many issues, especially concerning the television broadcasting industry and other logistical matters.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Football Association, Mohammed Farhan, expressed his great thanks and appreciation to the President of La Liga, Javier Tebas, for his presence, conveying the greetings of the President of the Iraqi Federation, Captain Adnan Darjal, and the members of the Executive Office.
Farhan added, "The Federation is working hard to develop its administrative staff and involve them in advanced courses to increase their various experiences in various fields," indicating that "the Federation has put in place solid plans to achieve the set goal, which is to make the Iraqi League among the best in the region, if not the best."
