Health Minister Saleh Mahdi al-Hasnawi directed, on Monday, the formation of a special committee to provide medical and humanitarian aid to the peoples of Lebanon and Palestine, according to the directions of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani to continue health support for the two brotherly countries.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Health, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Minister of Health Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi directed the formation of a special committee consisting of members of the Ministry of Health, the Pharmacists Syndicate, the Iraqi Association of Pharmaceutical Producers, the Association of Scientific Offices, Pharmaceutical Stores, National Factories and a number of competent authorities, which will follow up and provide the necessary health and humanitarian support to the peoples of Lebanon and Palestine for the Zionist aggression they have been subjected to."
The statement added that "the Ministry of Health has sent large quantities of medicines, medical supplies and specialized medical teams to Lebanon on a military plane in support of the brotherly Lebanese people."
