DGIS Arrest ISIS Member in Salah al-Din

The Directorate General of Intelligence and Security-DGIS announced on Sunday, the arrest of a member of the ISIS terrorist group in Salah al-Din Governorate.
 
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Directorate noted that “under the direction and supervision of Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad Al-Abbasi, and as part of the ongoing execution of quality operations by the heroes of the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security in the Ministry of Defense, a special intelligence task force successfully apprehended an ISIS member in Salah al-Din following the receipt of accurate intelligence information.”
 
The statement further indicated that “the terrorist was wanted under an arrest warrant issued in accordance with Article (4) of the Anti-Terrorism Law,” adding that “legal procedures have been initiated against him, and he has been referred to the judiciary.”
