The Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced on Saturday, the receiving of more than 130 Lebanese citizens at Baghdad International Airport.
A statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "based on the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faeq Jabro, the ministry's cadres received at Baghdad International Airport a plane coming from Beirut Airport carrying more than 130 Lebanese citizens who came to Iraq due to the ongoing brutal Zionist aggression on Lebanon."
The statement added that "the ministry's cadres, in cooperation with the two holy shrines in Karbala, registered the Lebanese families and entered them into a special database in preparation for transporting them to the places designated for housing them."
