Al-Bashir Movement organized a massive public march in Baghdad today, Friday, in support of Gaza and Lebanon.
A statement by the movement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: "The Al-Jadriya area in Baghdad witnessed today a massive mass gathering organized by the Al-Bishara Youth Movement in support of Gaza and Lebanon, led by its Secretary-General Yasser Al-Maliki.".
The statement added that "thousands of Al-Bishara Movement supporters gathered in a magnificent show of solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese people against the escalating Zionist attacks.".
It pointed out that "this mass gathering reflects the Al-Bishara Movement's commitment to just causes, and confirms that Iraq always stands with its brothers in the face of injustice and aggression.".
The statement continued, "Through this gathering, the movement expressed clear messages of support for the Palestinians and the Lebanese, and renewed its firm position in defending the legitimate rights of the Arab and Islamic peoples in their struggle for freedom and dignity."
