The Ministry of Migration and Displacement announced today, Thursday, the reception of 686 Lebanese displaced persons through the Al-Qaim border crossing.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "based on the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and Minister of Migration and Displacement Evan Faeq Jabro, the ministry's cadres continue to receive Lebanese families coming to Iraq due to the ongoing Zionist aggression on Lebanon.".
The statement added that "the ministry's cadres received a new batch of 686 displaced Lebanese through the Qaim border crossing, where the cadres provided them with the necessary facilities."
