Commander-in-Chief issues directives to strengthen security forces’ capabilities

    The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia' Al-Sudani ordered to exert the utmost efforts to ensure security across the nation while underscoring the imperative of bolstering the capabilities of the security forces.

    In an official statement from the Prime Minister’s media office, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA  stated that" Al-Sudani conducted a visit to the Joint Operations Command headquarters in Baghdad on Tuesday evening”.

    During this visit, he engaged with several high-ranking security leaders and was briefed on the prevailing security situation across various military jurisdictions. He also assessed the implementation of security strategies and the challenges confronting military formations, alongside their preparedness to address any threats that may undermine national peace and stability.

    The Commander-in-Chief urged all security leaders to deploy every necessary effort to maintain security throughout the country, reiterating the critical need to enhance the capabilities of the security forces. 

    He also  emphasized the importance of advancing training methodologies to elevate readiness levels in the face of potential threats, particularly as the joint declaration with the United States is enacted regarding the conclusion of the international coalition’s mission in Iraq within the forthcoming year.
