PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani held on Tuesday, a phone conversation with King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The call focused on the general situation in the region, the rapid developments, and the ongoing Zionist aggression against Lebanon, as well as "the genocide being waged against the Palestinian people in Gaza," according to a statement by the PM Media Office - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
During the call, both leaders "emphasized the need to expand international and global efforts, urging international organizations and major powers to exert maximum efforts to stop the aggression."
They also "condemned the Zionist attacks on southern Lebanon" and agreed on bilateral coordination between Iraq and Jordan to deliver urgent humanitarian aid and "support to the resilient peoples of Lebanon and Palestine."
