Karkh Criminal Court issues death sentence for a terrorist

    The Karkh Criminal Court issued on Tuesday, a death sentence against a terrorist criminal for his affiliation with terrorist groups.
     
     
    The media center of the Judicial Council stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the terrorist, in collaboration with other defendants, killed a citizen using a sticky bomb in 2012 to achieve terrorist goals."
     
    It added that "the ruling was issued based on the provisions of Article 4/1 and in accordance with Article 2/1, 3 and 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005."
