The head of the Social Protection Authority affiliated with the Ministry of Labor, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, discussed with the UNICEF delegation, today, Wednesday, the file of child protection units and displaced families in Al-Jadaa camp.
The authority stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the meeting included discussions on training researchers nominated for these units and the needs of the units in the governorates of Muthanna and Anbar, as well as the conditions of families inside Al-Jadaa camp."
Al-Moussawi said according to the statement: "The authority included all families returning from the camp with social assistance and other services provided by the ministry," noting that "the authority will equip the units with furniture and electrical appliances in all its departments in Baghdad and the governorates."
For his part, the UNICEF delegation explained that "the organization seeks to train (600) social researchers to work in these units, noting that 35 researchers were trained in the first batch."
