Two cargo planes loaded with medical supplies are being sent to Lebanon

    Advisor to the Prime Minister, Zidan Khalaf Al-Atwani, announced today, Saturday, the dispatch of two military cargo planes loaded with medical supplies to Lebanon.

    Al-Atwani told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Based on the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, two military cargo planes carrying (31.5) tons of medicines and medical supplies were sent to Lebanon.".

    The Lebanese News Agency announced today, Saturday, the arrival of a shipment of Iraqi medical aid.

    The agency said: "A delegation from the Ministry of Public Health, including the acting director general Fadi Sinan and the head of the Hospitals Department Hisham Fawaz, received an additional shipment of Iraqi aid to the Lebanese health sector, provided by the Iraqi Red Crescent in cooperation with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in the world, and includes 11 tons of medicines and supplies necessary for emergency cases."
