Interior Ministry repatriates two wanted individuals from Iran in cooperation with Interpol Tehran

    The Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday, the repatriation of two Iraqi suspects wanted by the judiciary.

    The spokesman for the Interior Ministry and the Security Media Cell, Brigadier General Muqdad Miri, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "With intensive and exceptional efforts by the Arab and International Police Directorate/Interpol and through direct coordination with Interpol Tehran in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Arab and International Police Directorate detachments were able to recover two Iraqi fugitives wanted by the Iraqi judiciary for the crime of (kidnapping) for terrorist motives and sentenced to death in absentia."
     
    The statement added, "They were handed over to the requesting party to receive their just punishment."
