Interior Ministry: A terrorist network has been taken down; all of its members have been arrested in Kurdistan

The Ministry of Interior announced on Thursday dismantling of a terrorist network and the arrest of all its members in the Kurdistan region.
 
  "With a qualitative operation, and based on accurate intelligence, the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA, in cooperation with the security services in the Kurdistan region, was able to dismantle a terrorist network and arrest all its members," said a statement by the Interior Ministry obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
 FIIA explained that "the Agency's detachments were able to dismantle a terrorist network and arrest all its three accused members within the areas of the Kurdistan region, and upon interrogation they confessed to carrying out several terrorist operations within the provinces of (Kirkuk, Salah al-Din and Diyala)."
 
It added, "These efforts presented by the heroic forces of the Ministry of Interior confirm that it is the strong shield of the country and that it is up to the responsibility entrusted to it to preserve the security of the country and the citizen, and will remain the watchful and sacrificial eyes in order to enhance security and safety and pursue outlaws."
