The Iraqi National Security Service-INSS Council held its thirteenth session of 2024 today, Tuesday, chaired by National Security Advisor Qassim al-Araji. The council discussed the project for establishing an Iraqi satellite.
According to a statement from the National Security Advisor’s office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The National Security Agency Council held its thirteenth session of 2024, chaired by National Security Advisor Qassim al-Araji and attended by council members."
The statement also noted that "the council discussed the items on the agenda and made the necessary decisions and recommendations."
The council, as stated, discussed the "Iraqi satellite project" and also reviewed a memorandum of understanding for security cooperation related to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, making the appropriate decisions regarding it.
