Interior Minister Visits Jordan for SOFEX Defense Industries Exhibition

Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari arrived on Tuesday in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for an official visit to attend the SOFEX 2024 defence industries exhibition.

According to a statement from the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Minister Al-Shammari’s visit aims to explore the exhibition, which focuses on defence industries and special operations equipment and will run for three days in Aqaba.

The statement noted that the exhibition features participation from several countries and includes displays of light and medium weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and the latest defense technologies used by armed forces and security units, as well as special operations equipment.
