Iraq prepares to earn a medal in the Paralympic, Paris

    Iraqi swimmer Qasim Muhammed Al-Khafaji was announced to be preparing to win one of the colored medals in the Paralympic Games held in Paris 2024.


    "Al-Khafaji aspires to one of the colored medals to raise the Iraqi flag and record of Iraq through his participation in two races. The first one starts tomorrow with the 50m butterfly event, followed by participation in the 100m freestyle next Thursday," said the media of the Paralympic Committee in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.


    The head of the game's federation, Hashim Farz, said that "Al-Khafaji is fully prepared to compete for one of the medals despite the lack of camps and abroad participation that increase his friction with his competitors, but he can achieve one of the first three places."
