SMC reports that two terrorist hideouts within Kirkuk Operations Command have been destroyed

The Security Media Cell announced on  Monday  the destruction of two terrorist hideouts within the Kirkuk Operations Command sector.

"Through joint security work and the unification of information and intelligence effort between the Directorate of Military Intelligence and the Directorate of Asayish Sulaymaniyah Operations, a force from the First Regiment, the 63rd Special Forces, in conjunction with the Reconnaissance Battalion of the Eighth Division and a force from Asayish Sulaymaniyah, carried out a qualitative operation within the Kirkuk Operations Brigade in the Bur Mountains on the outskirts of the Laylan district," said a statement by the cell ontained  by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
The statement added that "the security operation resulted in the destruction of two terrorist hideouts and two explosive devices, and the discovery of a quantity of weapons, various equipment and logistical materials.”
