ERD captures drug trafficking suspect in Anbar

    The Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday the arrest of a suspect wanted for drug-related charges in Anbar province.
     
    According to a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Second Battalion of the Fifth Brigade, part of Iraqi Emergency Response Division E.R.D at the Ministry of Interior, successfully apprehended an individual in Ramadi, Anbar, who was wanted under Article 28 for drug offenses.
     
    The operation was conducted in collaboration with the Anbar Directorate of Drug Control and Psychotropic Substances, and in coordination with E.R.D. As The suspect has been formally handed over to the requesting authority.
