"The Minister of Health inspected the field hospital for crisis and disaster treatment of the Directorate of Operations and Emergency Medical Services, to follow up on the progress of work and emergency health services provided," the Ministry of Health stated in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) on Friday. It further noted that "the minister continued his field tour to inspect health institutions to follow up on the services provided to pilgrims within the medical support plan for Arbaeen Pilgrimage."
The ministry further stated that "the minister was briefed on the pulmonary resuscitation lobby in the mobile hospital and the progress of work and coordination to receive emergency care," and that "the minister inspected during the tour the field hospital to address crises and disasters."
As per the statement, "field hospitals and medical detachments have made a significant contribution to organizing the smooth provision of health services to pilgrims and relieving pressure on public hospitals."
