The Ministry of Education announced on Tuesday, that 4,000 students are competing for admission to distinguished and high-achieving schools across Iraq.
According to a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "40,000 distinguished and high-achieving students have arrived at examination centers to undertake intelligence and competitive tests necessary for entry into advanced schools throughout the country. The General Directorate for Assessment and Examinations has ensured all logistical requirements are met to guarantee the comfort and efficiency of the examinees."
The statement further detailed that "exams for high-achieving students commenced at 9:00 AM, while cognitive ability tests for distinguished students were conducted at 8:00 AM and lasted twenty minutes, followed by a break. Subsequently, students proceeded with assessments in Arabic, English, science, and mathematics, conducted with a high degree of efficiency."
