Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network, Thaer Al-Ghanmi, confirmed today, Thursday, that the network is a key partner in the security industry in the country through its contribution to covering the efforts of the security institutions.
A statement by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees - received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network, Thaer Al-Ghanmi, met today with the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, and the official spokesman for the Joint Operations Command, Head of the Security Media Cell, Major General Tahseen Al-Khafaji, in Baghdad."
Al-Ghanimi conveyed "the greetings and peace of the members of the Board of Trustees of the Joint Operations Command, leaders, officers and ranks," praising the great efforts made by our security forces to maintain security and stability throughout our beloved country. He stressed that "the Iraqi Media Network is a key partner in the security industry in the country through its contribution to covering the efforts of the security institutions and conveying their instructions and organizational directives to the public, especially during the million-person occasions."
For his part, Al-Muhammadawi praised "the great role of the Iraqi Media Network in supporting security efforts and foreign phenomena," stressing "the need to continue this partnership in the service of the country and the citizen," reviewing "the national roles played by the security institution at various levels."
Al-Muhammadawi pointed out "the need to enhance cooperation with the Iraqi Media Network in order to confront negative phenomena in society such as drugs and organized crime, and the need to translate this cooperation into realistic and purposeful work programs that contribute to raising security awareness and fortifying society from the effects of these scourges."
