The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Thursday, the arrest of 11 terrorists, including a woman, in Nineveh.
The spokesman for the Interior Ministry and the Security Media Cell, Brigadier General Muqdad Miri, said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "A joint force within the Nineveh Police Sector, after collecting information, continuous follow-up, and citizens' cooperation, was able, within 72 hours, to arrest 11 suspects wanted by the judiciary, according to Article 4/1 of terrorism, including a woman."
Miri added, "One of them is a prominent leader, nicknamed Abu Bakr, who worked in the so-called Al-Baraa bin Malik Battalion/Martyrdom Fighters, and they were working within ISIS terrorist gangs during their period of control over the city of Mosul," indicating that "they were arrested in areas and neighborhoods on the left side of the city of Mosul."
