Al-Mandlawi stresses the need to develop a comprehensive vision to confront risks

    Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, stressed today, Sunday, the need to develop a comprehensive vision to confront risks, while indicating that the security and stability of the country are affected by the events and developments taking place in the region.
     
    The media office of Al-Mandlawi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "The Acting Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandlawi, received the Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army, Lieutenant General Special Forces Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, and a number of representatives, to discuss the security situation throughout the country, and the recent developments witnessed in the region, as well as the plan to secure Al- Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein  (peace be upon him).
     
    The statement added that "Al-Mandlawi stressed the need to take precautionary measures to achieve stability in all governorates, especially areas where security breaches are repeated, by redistributing military units, and launching proactive campaigns to cleanse it of dormant cells."
     
     The acting Speaker of the House of Representatives stated according to the statement that "the security and stability of the country is affected by the events and developments taking place in the region and is inseparable from regional security.
    This calls for developing a comprehensive vision to confront internal and external risks, by developing the army's capabilities in the areas of training, armament and equipment, and paying attention to purchasing advanced defense systems to preserve the nation's sovereignty, security and stability."
