Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed, today, Friday, to stand for a minute of silence tomorrow, Saturday, in commemoration of the martyrs of Iraq and the victims of genocide.
Deputy Director of the Prime Minister's Office Ali Razouqi stated in a document seen by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "based on the approval of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani to take the necessary measures to all departments affiliated with ministries, governorates and entities not affiliated with a ministry to stand for a minute of silence on August 3 of each year at exactly ten o'clock in the morning, with the stopping of vehicles in commemoration of the souls of all martyrs of Iraq and victims of genocide on the National Day of the Genocide of the Yazidis and other Iraqi components.".
