WAA Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, confirmed that the assassinations of the martyrs Ismail Haniyeh and Fouad Shukr brought the war in Gaza and its regional developments into a new phase, indicating that the Zionist entity must await the response of the honourable people to its crimes.
In his speech during the funeral ceremony of Hezbollah military commander Fouad Shukr, who was targeted in a Zionist raid on the southern suburb of Beirut, Sayyed Nasrallah said, "The resistance's response to the attack on the suburb and the assassination of Fouad Shukr is a foregone conclusion. The enemy and those behind it must await our inevitable response, and there will be no discussion or debate. Days, nights, and the battlefield will stand between us.".
He added, "We have entered a new phase, and pressure on all fronts to force the resistance to surrender will not succeed. The Zionist entity must await the response of the honourable.".
He continued, "The assassination of Haniyeh in Tehran went beyond harming Iranian sovereignty to harming its national security and crossing red lines. The tone of Supreme Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei after the assassination of Haniyeh was harsher than his tone after the targeting of the Iranian consulate in Damascus. The battle is open on all fronts and has entered a new phase."
