The media office of the Gaza government confirmed today, Saturday, that the Zionist entity is spreading false news that has no basis in truth, about targeting Palestinian leaders, to divert attention from the massacre it committed in Khan Yunis, which has claimed the lives of 71 martyrs so far.
The office said in a statement that "the Zionist entity spread lies and baseless rumours about targeting Palestinian leaders, to divert attention from the crime it committed in Mawasi Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip," stressing that "this news is a failed attempt to justify the massacre that has so far claimed 71 martyrs and 289 wounded.".
The statement added that "the Zionist entity has been practising a policy of deception since the beginning of the war of genocide, in an attempt to cover up its crimes against civilians and displaced persons," calling on the media "not to be dragged into and not to circulate the false narrative of the occupation, which seeks to use the media to cover up its crimes."
