    The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced today, Thursday, the killing of a number of Zionist soldiers in the explosion of a booby-trapped tunnel in southern Gaza.

    Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement - followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Al-Qassam fighters were able to lure a Zionist infantry force into a tunnel that was previously booby-trapped and detonate it with the force members, killing them all in the Tel al-Sultan neighbourhood west of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.".

    Qassam stated that "our fighters were also able to lure a Zionist force into a tight ambush and clash with its members, killing and wounding them in the Shuja'iyya neighbourhood in Gaza City, where a helicopter was spotted landing to evacuate them." It continued, "Al-Qassam Brigades fighters and the Martyr Abdul Qader al-Husseini Brigades were able to launch a "Sam 7" missile at an "Apache" helicopter in the sky of the Shuja'iyya neighbourhood east of Gaza City," noting that "the enemy's operations command headquarters near the Nahal Oz site east of Gaza City was targeted with Rajum and 107 missiles.".

    He explained that "two Merkava 4 tanks were targeted with "Al-Yassin 105" shells in the Shujaiya neighbourhood east of Gaza City, and the Mujahideen in cooperation with the Al-Quds Brigades targeted a Zionist Merkava 4 tank with a "Shawaz" explosive device in the Shujaiya neighbourhood east of Gaza.".

    The latest update of the Zionist army's data on its official website shows that the number of dead since October 7 has reached 277, including officers and soldiers.
