The Ministry of Immigration and Displacement -MOID announced, on Monday, that the Higher Committee for relief and support of the displaced has taken important decisions to speed up the Return of the displaced and disbursement of financial grants to them.
A statement from the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that " The Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabru chaired the meeting of the Higher Committee for relief and support of the displaced (session No. 175), in the presence of representatives of ministries and concerned authorities, at the ministry's headquarters in Baghdad".
"The committee discussed during the meeting a number of topics on the agenda, and the mechanisms for implementing the ministry's plan to close the displacement camps completely on July 30, as well as taking important decisions to accelerate the return of displaced Persons to their areas of origin or areas of their choice, and continue to disburse the return grant of four million dinars to returnees from inside the displaced camps in the Kurdistan region”, the statement added.
