President of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), Judge Dr. Faiq Zidan, heading a high-ranking judicial delegation, arrived in Tehran on, Saturday, to offer condolences on the martyrdom of Iranian President Ayatollah Ibrahim Raisi and his companions.
A statement by the Supreme Judicial Council received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that “Judge Zidan headed a high-level judicial delegation consisting of the Deputy President of the Court of Cassation, Judge Kazem Al-Khafaji, and the Head of the Judicial Supervision Authority, Judge Laith Jabr Hamza, and the President of Baghdad/Al-Rusafa Appeals, Judge Imad Al-Jabri the President of the Baghdad Al-Karkh Appeal, Judge Khaled Al-Mashhadani, the President of the Basra Appeal, Judge Adel Abdul Razzaq, the President of the Karbala Appeal, Judge Ahmed Hadi, and the President of the Najaf Appeal, Judge Hassan Soudi.
The statement added, "The First Deputy Head of the Iranian Judiciary, Hamza Khalili, received the delegation at the airport."
