Deputy Governor of Salah al-Din Governorate, Mufeed Mun'im Ahmed Al-Baldawi, affirmed on Friday, that The Development Road Project will support the industry, housing, and reduce unemployment in the province.
Al-Baldawi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The 1,200-kilometer-long Development Road, which extends from the port of Faw in the south to the Turkish border in the north, will be a starting point for a sustainable economy in Iraq and will contribute to regional integration."
He added that "the state relies on this project, which connects Asian markets with European ones through The Grand Faw Port," indicating that "this project will truly support the economy, which has become primarily dependent on oil exports, and thus will be an important resource for the Iraqi economy."

He highlighted its potential to drive regional economic advancement, fostering stability not only in Iraq but across neighboring nations.
