Darjal: We have great confidence in Shenaishil’s leadership of the Olympians in the Paris Olympics

The President of the Iraqi Football Federation, Adnan Darjal, confirmed today, Thursday, that the Federation has great confidence in the leadership of Olympic team coach Radhi Shanishil for the team in the Paris Olympics.

A statement from the Football Association, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: “The President of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal, received at the Federation’s headquarters, the coach of the Olympic team, Radhi Shanishil, and the administrative director of the team, Abdul-Jabbar Hashem.”.

The statement added, "The meeting discussed many matters related to the future of the team and its preparation for the Olympics.".

The president of the federation stressed according to the statement that “the Olympic team’s achievement confirmed the prowess of our ball and its merit in the important Asian forum that qualifies for the Paris Olympics, from which it snatched one of the qualification tickets to Paris despite the difficulty of the competition.”.

He added, "Means were discussed to prepare the Olympic team, provide the requirements for its success in the Olympics, and present the best levels to the group's teams.".

The statement quoted Darjal as saying: “We have great confidence in coach Radhi Shenaishil to lead the team in the next Olympics in the best way after its success in qualifying for Paris.”
