MOE emphasizes work to develop partnerships and exchange international experiences

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, confirmed today, Thursday, work to develop partnerships, exchange international experiences, and improve the quality of education.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Al-Aboudi participated in a session within the activities of the Babylon Festival for World Cultures and Arts and stressed that the international cooperation strategy enabled universities to exchange experiences with their international counterparts and contributed to keeping pace and updating curricula, stressing work on Developing partnerships, exchanging international experiences, enhancing the competitiveness of universities, and improving the quality of education.”.

He added, "The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research succeeded in implementing the Bologna Process in universities and established an important program to attract international students to study in Iraqi universities, as well as providing training opportunities in reputable international universities through which Iraqi students benefited from diverse educational environments that contributed to developing their scientific skills and the academic abilities.”.

He continued, "The Ministry is following a regular path to rehabilitate and develop the infrastructure in universities and to increase their absorptive capacity in light of the indicators of a clear increase in the percentage of enrollment in higher education institutions, in addition to concluding scientific twinning programs with a number of international universities in specializations related to comprehensive development.".

The statement indicated, “The attendees appreciated the policy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the achievements achieved within the government program supporting quality requirements that are consistent with global contexts,” pointing out, “Minister Al-Aboudi conducted a tour of the book fair held within the activities of the Babylon Festival for World Cultures and Arts and visited an artistically exhibitionit that includes various plastic paintings.” .
