The Ministry of Health declared that 84% of the target population had received vaccinations for measles, and it verified that 6,206,829 children in Iraq had received vaccinations.
"The ministry continues its national campaign for vaccination against measles, which began since April 14, 2024 for school and kindergarten students, as the number of vaccinated until the ninth day reached about (6,206,829) children, by 83.9% of the total goal throughout Iraq, including the Kurdistan region," the ministry's official spokesman, Saif Al-Bader, said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA) on Thursday.
