Joint Operations Command (JOC) announced on Tuesday, the implementation of an air strike on the hideouts of ISIS terrorist elements in the Hamrin mountain range.
A statement from JOC, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “With distinguished efforts, follow-up, great intelligence, and very accurate information by the Directorate of Military Intelligence, and in cooperation and coordination with the targeting cell/Joint Operations Command, the Air Force Falcons carried out, with F16 aircraft, a crushing air strike on one of The hideouts of ISIS terrorist elements in the Hamrin mountain range/Diyala Operations Command sector at 08:10 this morning.”
The statement added, "The air strike resulted in the killing of a number of terrorists."
