Prime Minister Muhammed S. Al-Sudani welcomed on Tuesday, a delegation from Stellar Energy, led by CEO Peter Gibson, at the Prime Minister's residence in Washington, D.C.
The meeting focused on cooperation mechanisms with Stellar Energy in the electricity sector and reviewed the progress of their ongoing projects in Iraq, according to a statement by the PM Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
Al-Sudani stressed the need for Stellar Energy to expedite the completion of projects with the Ministry of Electricity, specifically the combined cycle power plants projects in Kirkuk and Sadr City.
In turn, Gibson affirmed the company's commitment to swiftly completing the projects, entering into the field of developing diverse energy projects, and working on integrating systems to reduce carbon emissions.
