Our Olympic football team lost today, Thursday to its counterpart, the Japanese Olympic team, with a goal to no return, in a friendly match in preparation for the Asian Cup finals.

The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) reported, “Our Olympic football team lost to its counterpart, the Japanese Olympic team, with a goal to none in a friendly match that brought together the two teams in preparation for the AFC U-23 Cup finals, which was held in the Qatari capital, Doha.”

He added, "The match comes as part of a training camp for the Iraqi Olympic team before competing in the U-23 Asian Cup, which will start on the 15th of this month and end on the 3rd of next month."
