Prime Minister and the Emir of Qatar discuss current challenges in the region and ways of joint action
The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), on Wednesday that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received a phone call from the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during which they exchanged greetings for Eid al-Fitr. The two leaders expressed their wishes for continued peace, security, and stability for the two brotherly peoples, as well as for all Arab peoples and Islamic world.
The two leaders also discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and strategies to enhance them, along with conversations on the current regional challenges, collaborative efforts to boost security, halt the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people, and the crucial role of the international community in taking responsibility for stopping the genocide being perpetrated in Gaza against innocent people.
