Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology : Thundery rains and a drop in temperature

Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology announced ,on Friday ,the weather situation details in the country for the coming days, while it expected thunderstorms and a drop in temperatures.

A statement of the commission, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that " tomorrow, Saturday, the weather will be sunny to partly cloudy, and temperatures in general are close to the previous day".

"On Sunday, the weather will generally be partly cloudy to cloudy with light to medium rains and sometimes thunderstorms, and temperatures will drop several degrees from the previous day in all regions of the country "the statement added.

The statement pointed out that "next Monday, the weather in the northern region will be partly cloudy and sometimes cloudy with scattered light rains, sometimes thunderstorms, and in the central and southern regions the weather will be sunny with some clouds, and temperatures are close to the previous day in the northern region, and slightly higher in the central and southern regions".

The statement explained that "next Tuesday, the weather will be sunny and the afternoon will turn partly cloudy and sometimes cloudy with light to medium rains, sometimes thunderstorms, and temperatures rise a few degrees in the central and northern regions, and rise slightly in the southern region of the country".
