Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology announced ,on Wednesday, the weather situation in the country for the coming days, while it expected rains and thunderstorms starting next week.
A statement of the commission, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that " tomorrow, Thursday, the country weather will be sunny that gradually turns into partial cloudy in the central region, while the weather in the northern region will be partly cloudy with fog forming in the morning and gradually disappearing, and in the southern region the weather will be sunny with some clouds, and temperatures will be close to the previous day in the central region, and slightly higher than the previous day in the northern and southern regions.
"The weather on Friday will be partly cloudy and sometimes cloudy, and temperatures are close to the previous day in all country regions "the statement added.
"On Saturday, the weather in the central and southern regions will be cloudy with light to medium rains and thunderstorms, and temperatures will drop slightly from the previous day ,in the northern region the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at night with heavy rains , especially in its eastern parts, and temperatures will rise slightly from the previous day" the statement continued.
The statement explained that "the weather of the country for next Sunday will be cloudy with light to medium rains that are thunderstorms and gradually improve at noon in the central region, while the weather in the northern region will be partly cloudy, and in the southern region the weather will be cloudy with moderate to heavy rains sometimes with thunderstorms , as temperatures will be close to the previous day in the central and northern sections, while several degrees will drop in the southern part of the country".
