Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology announced, on Sunday, the weather situation in the country for the coming days, while it expected rains and a drop in temperatures.
A statement from the commission received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA ) said that "Tomorrow, Monday, the weather in the central region will be sunny with some clouds, temperatures will be close to the previous day, and in the northern region the weather will be cloudy to partly cloudy with a chance of Heavy rains in its eastern sections as fog forms and gradually disappears, and no change in temperatures from the previous day, while the weather in the southern region will be sunny to partly cloudy, and temperatures are close to the previous day".
The statement added that "The weather on Tuesday will be partly cloudy, and the temperatures will drop slightly from the previous day in the central region, and it will be partly cloudy as fog forms in the morning and gradually disappears in the northern region, sunny with some clouds in the southern region, and there is no change in temperatures in the northern and southern regions".
"The weather forecast for next Wednesday will be partly cloudy in the central and northern regions, and partly cloudy in the southern region, and temperatures will be similar to the previous day across the country "the statement pointed out.
The statement explained that "the weather for next Thursday will be partly cloudy in the central and northern regions, sunny with some clouds in the southern region, temperatures are close to the previous day in the central and southern regions, and temperatures are slightly higher than the previous day in the northern region".
