Al-Mandalawi congratulates on Easter : an opportunity to renounce segregation, extremism, terrorism and corruption

Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, the acting speaker of the Parliament, on Sunday, congratulated Christian religion’s people on Easter occasion, while stressing that this occasion is an opportunity to renounce segregation, extremism, terrorism and corruption, for strong and prosperous Iraq.

Al-Mandalawi said in a statement followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA ) " we extend our best congratulations to the Christian religion’s people in Iraq and the world, on the occasion of Easter.

" We commend the role and contributions of the Sons of this authentic component along with the rest of the components of our dear people in building modern Iraq, achieving stability and security for our country" ,stressing that"this atmosphere of faith in the holy month of Ramadan, which coincides with the holidays of our Christian Brothers, is an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of love, tolerance, peace and coexistence among the Sons of Iraq, and it is an opportunity to renounce segregation, extremism, terrorism and corruption, for a strong and prosperous Iraq” he added .
