Al-Mandalawi, wishing everyone a happy Nowruz, urges powers to take unified stances to fulfill constitutional entitlements

Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, the acting speaker of the parliament, wished the Iraqi people and Kurdish people a happy Nowruz on Thursday and urged the national powers to coordinate in order to fulfill their constitutional entitlements.  

"We extend to our Iraqi people of various spectrums, especially the Kurdish component, our sincere congratulations and best blessings, on the occasion of the Nowruz holidays, wishing them security, safety, progress, prestige and prosperity," Al-Mandalawi media office said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

"This occasion is an important opportunity to further strengthen the bonds of love and harmony, and spread the culture of tolerance and acceptance of the other," he emphasized. "We should use it to call on all national forces, to unify positions and visions to complete the constitutional entitlements, and to concert efforts and mobilize energies in order to provide service to our citizens, many happy returns."
