Najaf Criminal Court issued, on Sunday, a seven-year prison sentence against a a convict who impersonated a legal adviser in the General Secretariat For Council of Ministers.
Media Center of the Supreme Judicial Council stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the convict received cash from a complainant who promised to obtain official approvals to obtain land plots for her children”.
The statement added that" The sentence was issued based on the provisions of resolution 160 of 1983, item i / 1 and 2 thereof ".
