Advisor to the Prime Minister for Youth Affairs, Qasim Al-Dhalimi, announced ,on Wednesday ,the inclusion of 8 thousand trainees with loans across the provinces, while he pointed out that the loans range from 20 to 100 million dinars, he confirmed that it will be launch in the next few days.
"The decisions we have taken are clear, which is to hold awareness and training workshops aimed at entering youth into labor market, as we have the problem of employing youth in the private sector, so we are looking for any way to employ them in the private sector " Al-Dhalimi said to the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
"We also have awareness programs for youth on how to manage their money economically, to control their inputs and outputs, and we have formed awareness teams to educate youth on the economic level and how to work in the private sector "he added.
Al-Dhalimi pointed out that " there are 136 training centers in Baghdad and the provinces, where the number of trainees is currently more than 10 thousand trainees, and the number of those who have registered for training has reached more than 182 thousand applicants", pointing out that "there are about 8000 trainees whose projects are ready and loans will be disbursed to them”.
He pointed out that "youth projects are diverse, including classic and qualitative, some of them have projects to open a cafeteria, buy a car or enter a business partner, and some of the youth are distinguished and have technological projects, and some have worked on opening commercial coordination offices between Baghdad and the provinces" pointing out that "loans are according to the type of project, namely from (5 - 20) million dinars, from (5 - 50) million dinars, and entrepreneurial projects from (5 - 100) million dinars," stressing that "there are 8000 young people ready to receive loans".
He added that " in the next few days, loans will be launched electronically via (K-card)" ,noting that "each trainee was given an electronic identity to submit a feasibility study and other requirements, and the computer remains continuous with the borrower and the project owner to disburse the amounts, that is, it is an automation that adjusts everything”.
